Today was my weigh-in day, and I knew I wasn't going to like it. I had that huge drop on a different scale last week that didn't seem right to me, and then I ate badly all week - plus, I'm on my period. So I wasn't surprised by what I saw when I weighed in.
134.9. Only down .2 lbs from when I weighed in two weeks ago, but up 2.6 lbs from when I weighed in last week! Blah. At least in 2 weeks I haven't gained. I ended up deleting the weight that I entered last week on my Weight Watchers tracker. It seemed too good to be true, and I think it was. When I end up spending more time in Philly permanently, I will start using that Wii Fit I guess and I will just do my best to be consistent. Anyway, this is disappointing right before I go to the beach, but at least I haven't gained.
Yesterday I had a three-miler on the schedule. Even at 6 AM it was really hot, and I was worried about the hilly route. I tried to moderate my pace, but I went way too fast for the first mile and a half downhill, and the return trip (totally uphill) was rough. I ended up having to walk for a block to make it through the run. Of course when I finished, I really wished I hadn't walked the block - I'm sure I could have made it! I have to stop doing that.
Mile 1: 11:44
Mile 2: 11:26
Mile 3: 12:14
Average Pace: 11:50
After my run, I grabbed Paul and myself iced coffees and got ready to head out to the bus back down to DC. The bus ride was uneventful. We made a stop at a rest stop and I really wanted to get Popeyes, but I knew I'd had a really bad week so I just got myself some cantaloupe instead.
When I got home, I snacked on some jellybeans (3 PP). Later that night I had three glasses of champagne (10 PP), a bunch of pretzel thins (5 PP), and Pinkberry with strawberries and chocolate chips (5 PP). All in all, not a very healthy or eventful day.
I'm going to stick within by daily points today, but for this week I think I am going to switch to maintenance and try to stay within that. I know I might even go over that, though. I want to enjoy myself at the beach and not be worrying about my eating.
