3.5 Miles!

I'm at the beach with my family - we have very limited internet access here, and I have not been tracking my eating at all - I'm just enjoying myself. But I did do my long run of 3.5 miles yesterday! It's the longest I've ever run, and it was a good strong run for me. My knee was bothering me a little bit, but I think just the fun of running on the boardwalk by the beautiful ocean helped make it a very bearable run. I also had eaten a big dinner the night before, and it had rained so it was nice and cool outside at 6 in the morning. I was pleased when I looked at my split times! All in all a good run. This week I am supposed to run 1.5 miles on Tuesday and Thursday, 3 miles on Wednesday. But since I'm at the beach and eating a lot, I think I will skip the extra rest day tomorrow and add on a run, and bump the 1.5 mile runs up to 2 miles (the length of running to the end of the boardwalk and back.) Hopefully that will not feel like too much.
