No post yesterday because nothing much happened and I had very little to say. I ate some melon for breakfast, another one of those English Muffin sandwiches for lunch, and then I had to wait in Philly for my boyfriend, Paul, to get in from New York. By the time he got here it was 9 PM and pouring rain and I was kind of too exhausted for dinner. So I ate some Homestyle Popcorn and a Micheloeb Ultra beer. I think I actually ended up under my points for the day.

Today I have been hanging out with Paul and mostly being lazy, with occasional bouts of unpacking the house, which is still full of boxes. I am stressed out because I have a moth infestation that I cannot get rid of no matter how hard I try. It has followed me from New York to Philly, and has now followed me to my new house in Philly. I hate them so much and have spent hundreds of dollars trying to get rid of them.
We watched one of the new episodes of Arrested Development, which neither of us thought was very funny, and headed out to brunch at a local place called Hawthorne's. They always have a special pancake, and you can order just one, which I like because I love super sweet pancakes but can never eat a whole order of them. Today's pancake was a Campfire Cake, which sounded pretty good. It was supposed to be graham crackers and marshmallows and then had chocolate ganache on top.Like a S'more pancake.

Unfortunately it just wasn't that good. The graham crackers made it too dry. So I only ate about half of it. I also had a fruit cup which was delicious. I ended up estimating the half pancake I ate at 6 PP. Later I had a bag of pretzels for 7 PP. After that, my eating kind of went to shit. We went to Morgan's Pier, this huge bar on the water with tons of really good food.

Those were just our appetizers. I got a cheeseburger and split fries with Paul for dinner. And I drank half of that beer that's over in the corner, but abandoned it because I didn't like it. All and all I spent 41 PP at dinner. Yikes! I'll have to be careful for the rest of the week, but I'm a big believer in enjoying yourself and this was a really fun and unique experience.
